Man throws partner off precipice in ‘suicide pact’, gets 52 years in jail

ASHLAND, Ala. — An Alabama male who claimed he had a self-murder agreement with a partner he killed has pleaded guilty in her death.

A matter from state and internal prosecutors says 22-year-old Loren Bunner of Vincent pleaded guilty to murder Thursday in a genocide of 18-year-old Jolee Callan.

A decider condemned Bunner to 52 years in prison.

Authorities contend Bunner took Callan to a remote route in easterly Alabama and shot her in 2015. He after called military to tell them he had killed her.

Evidence showed Bunner told investigators a dual had a self-murder agreement for him to fire her and kill himself. Bunner told military he couldn’t go by with murdering himself after sharpened Callan.

Callan was shot twice in a conduct and thrown off a 40-foot (10-meter) cliff.
