MANCHESTER, N.H. — Police are accusing a New Hampshire lady of murdering her roommates’ pet ferret, that was found passed in a smoke-filled oven.
Manchester military says it got a call around 2:40 a.m. Wednesday about fume in an unit building caused by a burnt object in an oven. Firefighters privileged a building and found a ferret.
Two people who rented a unit pronounced they owned a ferret. They told military that they had a proxy guest.
Police arrested 26-year-old Ivana Clifford on one count of animal cruelty. She was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday afternoon. It wasn’t immediately famous if she had a lawyer. A phone series couldn’t be found for her.
